It doesn't get much sexier than this!

We were going to wait until after the holidays but our new CFO, Bradley, brought some investor cash so we were obligated to spend it as soon as humanly possible. So now we have a transmission. Thanks Bradley!

I love the little details! While working on the body the rear lip just seemed to lack emotion, so we reshaped it a little, made it more dramatic. What do you think?

We spent a little more time on the chassis and got the front firewall test fit. Now just need to drill a few more holes then we can run the brake lines.

Here is a blast from the past from when we were getting started on the body. We clamped the hot wire to our table and used it almost like a band saw, it worked out well to keep our cuts square. Each sheet took about 15min to cut, with 66 total it took us a few days to cut them all.

Quick look busy someone has a camera. We usually just sit around in the garage for hours but when anyone stops in we have to pretend like we are working at least that's what it must seem like anyway when in reality everything is progressing nicely if you look closely and if you do it is awesome to see all the little details taking shape.

Fail

Well the styrospray was an epic fail. The styrospray was supposed to create a barrier between the Styrofoam and the fiberglass so that the resin for the fiberglass would not melt the Styrofoam. Even after several tests that worked out fine once we put it on the body within an hour the resin had dissolved the protective film and was eating away at months of work. So now we will rebuild and experiment with some other methods to get to the point we can make the mold.
